N X P has developed the MF MF01CU1 to be used with proximity coupling devices (PCD) according to ISO/IEC14443 Type A . It can act as single trip tickets in public transportation networks , loyalty cards or day passes for events . They are the ideal replacement for conventional ticketing solutions such as paper tickets,magnetic stripe tickets or coins.
As the usege of contactless proximity smart cards becomes more and more common , transport and event operators are beginning to switch to completely contactless solutions.
