Smart Cards are main divided into three type, Contactless IC Cards, Contact IC Cards, Dual Interface Cards.

Contact IC Card is Integrated Circuit Card, which is a plastic chip card with standard ISO/IEC 7816, GB/T16694.

Contactless IC Card is also called RFID proximity cards, which is made of IC chip and antenna, encapsulated into a credit card size plastic card. The reading distance commonly is 5-10 CM around. 

Dual Interface Card is combine with Contactless IC card and contact IC cards, and encapsulated in the same plastic cards. It widely used for financial cards, bank cards.
