Magnetic Stripe Cards are very common, such as credit bank card,  debit card.
Nowadays, most of bank cards with chip and magnetic stripe, which is called magnetic stripe chip composite card. Some devices can read information to complete the transaction from the chip, while other devices can be identified information to complete the transaction from the magnetic strip.

The magnetic bank card is usually used to record the cardholder’s account number, holder name, expiration date and other related information. Some of data are invisible to the naked eye. This strengthens the confidentiality of the data and is available when you take MONEY ATM, POS, and other specialized computer terminals are used when authenticating bank cards. And the chip contains a secret key which is used to "sign" (not necessarily a true signature; often a MAC) transactions.
